| All files on an encrypted disk/partition are stored in the encrypted form. The password is necessary to access protected data.
Select an encrypted disk or partition (labeled as “ENCRYPTED”) in the main window of the program and select the “Mount the encrypted disk” item in the right or upper bar or in the menu.

After you select this item, the program will ask you to enter the username and password necessary to successfully decrypt the information on the disk. If you fail to decrypt the disk, the program considers the password invalid.
A click on the "Advanced" button will open a dialog box where you can change the mounting options:

You can specify some additional parameters in the same dialog box.
| • |
Mount to letter
You can select any letter from the list to use when mounting the encrypted disk/partition. |
| • |
Mount disk as read-only
If this option is selected, the mounted disk will not allow you to save/delete files. |
| • |
Mount disk as removable media
The mounted disk will be displayed as removable in the system. |
| • |
Open Explorer window for successfully mounted disk
If the disk is successfully mounted, a window with files stored on it will be opened automatically. |
After you successfully mount the disk/partition, a logical disk in the system will appear. It is not any different from a regular one. It will be labeled with the letter specified in the process of mounting.
The mounted disk can be scanned, defragmented, and set to be accessed over the network.
